Ainsberg’s career began in the music business working with award-winning composer, Philip Glass, and his record label, Point Music (PolyGram). During her seven years with Glass, Ainsberg worked on recordings with the likes of artists ranging from David Bowie and The Rolling Stones to Blue Man Group and Iggy Pop, as well as working on all of Glass’ personal projects for albums, stage and film productions. After leaving Point Music, Ainsberg went on to become a talent manager, working with veteran music manager Louis Levin, who has managed everyone from AC/DC and Michael Bolton to Michael Jackson. When Sharon’s obvious fashion obsession became too great to ignore, she merged her two great loves of music and fashion by co-founding the Music and Entertainment Division at Ford Models, representing celebrity musicians and actors for fashion and beauty collaborations and overall image consulting. It was during her tenure at Ford where she signed Jessica Simpson and subsequently secured Simpson’s first brand endorsement deal at just 18 years old with Redken hair care. Ainsberg then went on to join Starworks Group, where she was a partner in the agency. During her nearly eight years with the communications agency, Ainsberg launched the VIP Services Division, eventually growing the department to represent over 30 fashion designers worldwide. Ainsberg also oversaw many of the casting and licensing projects for the company and its clients. Ainsberg has cast and negotiated celebrity-brand endorsements for global advertisers such as: David Yurman, Montblanc, Miu Miu, Kate Spade, H&M, Vera Wang Fragrances, Jones New York, John Varvatos, Krug, Banana Republic, Nautica, and Max Mara amongst others.
